The Eleanor & Franklin Roosevelt Democratic Club was founded in 1976 to further the principles of the Democratic Party and to elect its candidates in general elections. We also help to organize poll workers. The Roosevelt Club serves western Prince George's County, including areas in the 21st, 22nd and 47th State Legislative Districts.
Our next General Membership Meeting is Friday, November 17, 2017 at 7:30 PM. The meeting will take place on the 1st Floor of the Greenbriar Community Building located at 7600 Hanover Parkway, Greenbelt MD 20770. We will have States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks joining us. Dues for the 2018 year are now due. Dues are $10 per person and $5 for seniors and students. You can pay your dues at the next membership meeting or you can mail a check or money order made payable to the Roosevelt Democratic Club - PO Box 824, Greenbelt MD 20768.
Hyattsville Area Residents for Progress (HARP) is organizing a series of small, informal meetings with Democratic candidates competing to run against Larry Hogan in Maryland’s governor's race next year.
Their next event will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 and will feature Rushern Baker at 7:30 PM. The event will be held at the home of Ruthanna and Sarah Emrys, 5801 42nd Avenue in Hyattsville, MD.
