Welcome to the hot summer of 2024, fellow Democrats!

The political atmosphere is simmering like a volcano and we need a break from that once in a while. From 

my cubicle here at Honda of Annapolis, I am observing with much anticipation the 2024 campaign. 

We got two choices right now: democracy or fascism, tolerance or intolerance, shared prosperity or riches for 

a chosen few. The choice is clear and we know that the Democrats offer a better alternative than the other side of the

aisle. 

As the other side spew hatred and division, we continue to spread love and inclusion. 

We are saddened that our opponents have chosen to spread hatred and division among the American people. But we

shall never stoop down to their level of gutter politics. 

On that note, we shall fight for our freedoms and rights as Americans and we shall do it with aplomb and class. In that

regard, what can be more American than a baseball game and fireworks? 

Join us August 3rd, 2024 at 630 pm as we enjoy a baseball game in Bowie. 

I have made it my mission to bring fun to the Roosevelt Democratic Club and I shall not break my stride towards that

goal.

Legislative Update is this Friday May 24, 2024 at Greenbriar Terrace !  

This is a gentle reminder to one and all that our meeting is on Friday at 7 pm. We also received confirmation that State Delegates Nicole Williams and Anne Healey as well as State Senator

Alonzo Washington will be in attendance! So this is your opportunity to ask them questions! 

I hope to see us all there in full force as we meet and greet our delegates from Annapolis!

What is your Autism Story ?

Fellow Democrats, 

In line with our program to make our Club inclusive, democratic and participatory, I welcome all 

of you to reflect on neurodiversity and inclusion of neurodiverse individuals in our community. This 

month is Autism Awareness Month and we would like to celebrate that by hosting an "Autism in Focus" 

video presentation and discussion for our March 26, 2024 meeting. I encourage you to invite your friends,

neighbors and relatives to join us. That will be followed by our general membership meeting.
