About The Club

Mission Statement

The Eleanor & Franklin Roosevelt Democratic Club was founded in 1976 to further the principles and platform of the Democratic Party and to elect its candidates in general elections. We also help to organize poll workers. For more information how you can get involved, see the By-Laws or contact individual Officers and Committee Chairs.

The Roosevelt Club serves western Prince George's County, including areas in the 21st, 22nd and 47th State Legislative Districts.

Meetings

General membership meetings are usually held on every third Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in the Terrace Room, Greenbriar Community Center, 7600 Hanover Parkway in Greenbelt, Md. (directions here). Meetings are open to the general public. See the calendar to confirm the meeting dates, for more details about meeting speakers and Club activities. Selected meetings are sometimes broadcast on Greenbelt cable channel 71B. Check times in the Greenbelt News Review.

Membership is open to any registered Democrat and interested individuals who are too young to vote, no matter where you live. Membership is $20 ($10 for seniors) per calendar year. For an application, see Join Us!
