With over twenty years in immigration law, Jill Marie Bussey applies legal analysis, experience, and strategic thinking to immigration law and policy challenges.

Jill began her legal career as an immigration paralegal and has a post-graduate certificate in Legal Assistant Studies from George Washington University.

She went on to pursue her law degree, graduating cm laude with a Juris Doctor with a concentration in Business Law from the University of
Baltimore School of Law. Jill has been practicing law since 2004. Jill is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Jill is an immigration lawyer, a passionate and tenacious advocate, and community leader who serves as the Director of Public Policy at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service.
